The survey took place between 19 and 22 September 2014 and was conducted throughout all of Russia in both urban and rural settings. The survey was carried out among 1600 people over the age of 18 in 134 localities of 46 of the country’s regions. The answer distribution is presented as percentages of the number of participants along with data from previous surveys. The statistical error of these studies does not exceed 3.4%.
In those cases when respondents were requested to chose one answer, the sum of the percentages may deviate from 100% by ± 2% as a result of rounding errors.

* From 2008-2011 the question was given with the following wording: “Do you generally approve or disapprove of Vladimir Putin’s performance as Russia’s prime minister?”
It should be noted that, in September 2008, Russians’ approval of Vladimir Putin reached its maximum value for all of the years that the Levada Center has conducted this poll.
View the full dynamics showing how Russians’ approval of Vladmir Putin’s performance has changed since 1999 here (in Russian).
